Soul Medicine Festival, Shropshire update

What a great weekend we had performing at Camp Out Shropshire - Soul Medicine Festival last weekend. We kicked off the live music on Friday night with a one hour set in The Barn accompanied by the wonderful Tom Shanti and Sarah Jane Luck on percussion. The audience really got behind us and joined in from the start. See short videos here or watch on our YouTube channel where you can subscribe. We would also like to thank Rory & Jess for letting us use their PA System and doing the sound for us. They really are a wonderful pair.

On the Sunday night we played around the firepit where yet again the audience joined in with many of the numbers we played. This was a beautiful evening under a half moon and sky full of stars. We aired both our own chant 'This is our planet earth' combined with 'What a wonderful world' and Tom's 'Navajo Smile' in its eternal sea guise for the first time.

In between gigs we held a sound workshop for children in the Zen Tent. The children from toddlers to teens and their parents seemed to have as much fun as we did banging drums and singing along. One mother was concerned that the noise would upset her child, but he ended up being the one creating the most noise and boy did he love it!

It was great to see so many old friends and meet new ones. Thank you to Alex Dudgon for inviting us along. We look forward to playing at many more Soul Medicine Festivals. We noticed a number of people taking photos and videos during our sets, we would really love to see these. Thank you.
